Whoooo Hoooooo!!!!

I've just been out photographing my first daffodil!!! I think this winter has made it even more precious than that first blossom usually is! It was so beautiful this weekend that we spent loads of time outdoors raking, trimming, and putting out grass seeds. This is certainly one of the most exciting times of the year. I even love to see weeds coming to life. They truly are welcome guests after the cold.

Yeah!!!! A daffodil! How beautiful and what a feeling of hope for Spring to happen finally. No daffs here but one nearly nearly out. It retreated again this week when it dropped to 34 again but hopefully will try again soon! Love Mel x

Hi Melanie!!
I hope your daffodils will be blooming soon! What a winter, eh? My one blossom is now in the midst of a bunch of miniature daffodils and are they wonderful. Unfortunately, they don't last too long. But they are surley wellcome when they arrive, aren't they.
Love you!
Donna

I love your photo of the daffodil, they still aren't out here in the UK. We have had crocuses flowering everywhere. I can't wait for spring to arrive, it is still so cold here.
I loved the pandas that you had on etsy.

Thank you so much Megan! It's very kind of you to say and you know I'm such a big fan on yours and your mother's bears. (Love Griffin!!)
I wish you many daffodils!! I've enjoyed your photos of the crocus blossoms.
Soon, when so much will be in bloom, it will be hard to believe that I was so thrilled with one blossom.
Thanks again!!!!
and a big hug across the pond!

Donna,
The flowers are coming up here in St. Louis but no blooms. I look out my window everyday with fingers crossed hoping today is the day. The good thing is....my birds are back. The are chirping and chasing and carrying on just the way I like. I love spring and your bears! I hope your Etsy shop is going well. The bears are a must have.

Hi Machelle!
How grand to hear from a kindred spirit! You know just how I felt when that first bloom opened up! I wish you lots of blossoms and I thank you for your kind words. The Etsy shop is going very well. It's easier for me to manage as I'm able to upload the photos myself and folks can visit whenever they have time.
I do appreciate your taking the time to write!! Happy Spring to us all!
Big hugs,
Donna
